At Duke: “As a student, I was encouraged to take courses across a wide range of legal disciplines. Even then, I had a strong interest in American government and public policy, though I had not yet defined exactly how that interest would take shape professionally. Housing law and poverty law resonated most deeply with me, as did subjects such as labor law, where government regulation and statutory frameworks play a central role. Those courses helped clarify that I was drawn to areas of law that intersect directly with policy and public impact.”
