8-year veteran of  the WNBA and member of 2021 WNBA champions Chicago Sky; co-host of the podcast “Full Circle” – where women’s basketball and culture collide; chairperson of Athletes Unlimited Pro Basketball; player representative of the Women’s National Basketball Players Association

AT DUKE: “I think Duke, specifically being in Fuqua, gave me new motivation to excel at whatever was presented in front of me. That was the first time I was really challenged intellectually to the point where I wasn’t sure if I would be able to finish. I had only been in an athletic space my entire life. The student part of student-athlete often gets lost while we’re working and chasing our goal to get to the highest level. Duke was the first place that valued my intellectual capabilities as much and sometimes even more than my athletic ones.”

AUTHENTIC SUCCESS: "Being an excellent basketball player used to be my identity and typically that’s what it takes to become a professional. As I have gotten older and, thankfully, wiser, there have been situations that forced me to really ask myself what type of mark I wanted to leave.

GOALS: I hope that the WNBA is able to sign a monumental collective bargaining agreement in the near future. It could change the entire landscape of the league I grew up aspiring to be part of. My personal goals include improving my craft and working to get back to the version of myself that excelled at Duke. Other goals include continuing to grow Athletes Unlimited Pro Basketball, the first domestic off-season professional league. "
