AT DUKE: “When I stumbled into the world of climate tech x entrepreneurship, Duke was overflowing with faculty, clubs and resources to support me. My favorite professor and mentor, Chris Wedding, taught several classes, quite literally teaching me how to be a climate VC before I became one. The Melissa and Doug Entrepreneurs program gave me a chance to get close to the most creative, craziest student founders on campus. I freaking loved every innovation class I took. Ezra Kucharz taught me how to do cold outreach. Kathie Amato showed me my first balance sheet and what the heck EBITDA is. Aaron Dinin taught me how to build a presence for myself online. Boom. I don’t have to look at old papers to remember the names of these people. I’m still in contact with them. College to Climate wouldn’t have flourished without the help of Duke, and I consistently feel compelled to come back to campus and keep learning and meeting cool folks.”

BIG FUTURE: “I want to build something wholly unique to the world of VC. I want to start doing AI consulting and donate the profits. I want to finally summon the courage to post my bad music on Spotify. I want to start a company someday but am in no rush.”
